Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm is one of the world’s leading communication schools and has been named School of the Year at Cannes Lions in 2015, 2014, 2010 and 2009.
Berghs School of Communication’s brand identity was originally created about 20 years ago by the art director Lars Hall. When the school recognised the need for rejuvenation, they contacted Ohlsonsmith and asked us to update the identity and help the marketing department to implement it successfully in their day-to-day work.
We kept most of the elements from the Berghs School of Communication profile, such as the logotype and typeface, and instead concentrated on layout, colours and paper choices to create a stricter profile. We developed instructions, recommendations and templates and assembled them in the Berghs School of Communication Brand Identity Guidelines.
Ohlsonsmith also developed products for sale and giveaways, such as a large sketchpad with different paper, notebooks for coursework and marketing material for Berghs School of Communication’s international promotional trips.
